711 "Methanol supply pump station" was delivered smoothly

A few days ago, the methanol supply pump station of large-cylinder diameter low-speed methanol dual-fuel engine injection system independently designed and developed by China Shipbuilding 711 successfully completed the system function and performance test, successfully passed the customer acceptance and delivery.

As a kind of clean energy, methanol has the advantages of environmental protection and renewable, and is widely used in the fuel field of vehicles such as automobiles and ships. However, in the traditional methanol fuel engine, the methanol supply is always a difficult problem because of the special structure of the low-speed engine with large cylinder diameter.

The methanol supply pump station is mainly used to supply liquid methanol to methanol rail test bench of large cylinder diameter low speed methanol dual-fuel engine. After strict testing and verification, the equipment can stably and efficiently inject methanol into the methanol rail of the test bench, and ensure that the system has good dynamic quality, while having enough static rigidity and thermal stability, which has been highly recognized by customers.

The smooth acceptance of the methanol supply pump station marks a new breakthrough in the field of low-carbon zero-carbon power equipment of 711. The successful development of the project has also provided technical and product support for the promotion and application of methanol fuel in ships, and laid a solid foundation for the realization of the "double carbon" goal in the shipbuilding industry.
